Here at LLLW, we recognize that one of the main ways to live long and live well is to not engage in risky behavior. However, I must admit that it sure is fun to watch when done by professionals who are the best in the world. Watching and hearing cars that are flying by at 250 mph is absolutely incredible. Here's about six minutes of unedited footage from the race, which was the hottest Indy on record, with track tempuratures reaching 130 degrees and an air temp. of 95. We did well as spectators using bags of ice throughout the day as heat is a tremendous stressor on the body. The fact that the drivers endured such a day points out once again that they are tremendous athletes.
